My Fave Martini

I’m not one to overcomplicate cocktails. Give me a few quality ingredients over a dozen unnecessary flourishes any day. That’s why this dirty martini has become my fave drink, its straightforward, elegant, and hits every single time. It’s vodka, olive juice, a touch of vermouth, and those perfect, briny olives. Simple doesn’t mean boring, and this martini proves it every time I make one.

Here’s my exact recipe:

-          2 oz Ketel one vodka

-          1 oz olive juice (or 2 oz to make it extra filthy)

-          3 sprays of Dolin Vermouth

-          3 olives

-          Ice

Shake it all with ice until its properly cold, then strain it into a chilled martini glass. Finally garnish with 3 olives, I prefer the simple ones, yet the blue cheese filled are very popular. The result is crisp, savory, and perfectly balanced between smooth and sharp.
